Nursery Care

Our youngest of members are cared for by "Nursery Nana's" gentle and loving group of volunteers. Our nursery serves birth through 3 years olds among 3 different play/care areas. Feel free use our comfortable nursery area for nursing or diaper changing; our infants learn to roam and play in our large group space; and our toddlers enjoy a perfect toddler-sized indoor playground!

NB*Tween

The in-between years of transitioning from elementary school to middle school bring a variety of challenges to rapidly changing and growing tweens. NB*Tween is a Sunday morning ministry where 5th & 6th graders come together before corporate service for instruction & activities designed to guide them through these formative years. Students learn advanced bible orientation, history, note-taking skills, and more as they transition from children's programs to attending youth group and corporate services.

NB*Tween meets from 9:30-10:30 on Sunday mornings. Students then attend service at 11 with their family.

Youth Group

This student ministry serves 6th through 12th graders. During a usual Wednesday evening meeting, students warm up with a large group game then move to a time of worship with a few songs from the praise team, then the youth pastor presents around a 30 minute lesson/message before ending the evening in small group discussion. In addition to Wednesday evening service, students participate in monthly/seasonal activities such as camping, community service, swimming or other sporting activities, ministry outreach, summer camp and more.

Youth group meets every Wednesday at 6-8pm, year round.

International Friends

International members of the community are invited to expand their English-speaking skills in this traditional Sunday school class.

Church membership is not required.
All nationalities are welcome!

The class meets in the education building from 9:45-10:45 each Sunday morning.

Music

Our contemporary worship team leads others to worship God through music during Sunday morning service times. The music ministry at The Mount welcomes musicians, singers, sound board and display operators to join this ministry.

Clothes Closet & Food Pantry

Meeting the most basic needs of those in our community, the Clothes Closet is a clothing "store" offering free clothing to those in need. Patrons of the Clothes Closet can "shop" for items suitable to their needs from several available departments: Mens & Boys, Women & Girls and Children & Infants.

The Food Pantry is a resource for those in need to receive a few grocery items. A typical grocery bag is filled with tuna fish, peanut butter, fixings for spaghetti dinner and the like. When available, patrons may also receive hygiene products, baby food and blankets.

These ministries always welcome donations and service. Gently used and well cared for clothing or unopened, nonperishable food donations can be delivered on Saturday mornings (during open hours) or may be left under shelter in the breezeway between the sanctuary and back building.

The Clothes Closet and Food Pantry are open on Saturdays from 9-11:30a. Please enter through the door under the left side of the front steps.

Patrons are welcomed to visit once per month.
